Seaside Drift

She lived by the beach and wanted something to carry her knitting.

I looked at the colors of the ocean and just went with it — olive, mint, sky blue, and deep blue layered in horizontal stripes, the same way the water and sand sit next to each other on a quiet morning.

She came out large. Bigger than I originally planned, honestly. But for someone hauling knitting supplies around, that ended up working out just fine. She fits a lot — yarn, needles, a book, daily essentials, then some.

I made it for her. It came out bigger than planned. She probably needed the extra space anyway.
